My own Matisse - Children's Activity Book

The ‘My own artist’ collection offers a range of delightful activity books for children aged 4 to 8.

With colouring, cutting-out and collage activities, plus 100 repositionable stickers, children can explore and reimagine one of Matisse’s works, "The King's Sadness".

Henri Matisse (1869–1954) was a major artist of the 20th century. With his keen sense of colour, form and drawing, he constantly developed his work until it reached its peak with his paper cut-outs. After carefully observing one of the artist’s iconic works, children are invited to imagine and create their own piece: a work to look at, a colouring page, large areas of colour to place the stickers on, and collages using repositionable stickers.

A wonderful introduction to Matisse’s artistic world, allowing children to discover his work whilst having fun.
