Over the centuries, the Post Office and time have woven a unique and, in many ways, little-known story. This exhibition explores the many facets of this history through the use of postal objects, which, when combined with works by contemporary artists, take visitors on a dizzying journey through history, art and the imagination, to the very heart of time.

Catalogue of the exhibition The Time making, presented at the Musée de la Poste, Paris (26 March - 3 November 2025).
The exhibition La fabrique du Temps looks at this vast subject through the prism of measurement tools (clocks, watches and calendars), offering a pendular view - like the ticking of a clock - between the place of these instruments in postal history and their interpretation by contemporary artists.
Melik Ohanian, Alicja Kwade, Annette Messager, Patrick Bernatchez, Laurent Pernot, On Kawara, Roman Opalka, Claude Closky, Susanna Hertrich... more than fifty works (installations, sculptures, videos, photographs...) by thirty artists are set in dialogue with objects from the museum's collections, creating new and sometimes daring encounters.
