The Fondation Cartier for Contemporary Art is inaugurating its new exhibition spaces at Place du Palais-Royal in Paris, with interior architecture designed by Jean Nouvel. To mark the occasion, the Fondation Cartier invited artist Yann Kebbi to revisit its history and reinterpret, in his own way, the foundation's iconic exhibitions since its creation in 1984.
From the Montcel estate in Jouy-en-Josas to Jean Nouvel's architectural projects on Boulevard Raspail and Place du Palais-Royal in Paris, Yann Kebbi casts his mischievous and humorous gaze on the places, events and artists that have shaped the Fondation Cartier's identity.
