With the complicity of photo critic and curator Christian Caujolle, la Samaritaine has invited 50 different artists, both young talents and international top names such as Michael Ackerman, Karen Knorr, Sarah Moon, Daido Moriyama, Georges Rousse and SMITH, to share with their singular view, the memory of the place and its mutation. These carte blanche have constituted a photographic collection including over 300 works of various formats and techniques.
The publication features a selection of different series by these photographers, each contextualized with a text written by Christian Caujolle.
