The World through AI - Exploring Latent Spaces

Catalogue for the exhibition The World through AI, presented at the Jeu de Paume, Paris (11 April - 21 September 2025).

Numerous artists are questioning the growing influence of AI in our societies and exploring these upheavals through a variety of media.

In the latent spaces of immense mathematical matrices, networks of artificial neurons understand the world as a code and begin to teach themselves how to produce images and sounds, how to write, translate and speak.

This catalogue is a cornerstone of the intellectual edifice that questions these new tools, which allow us to rethink and renew the creative process while shedding light on the way in which machines see and inhabit the world.
