Picasso Celebration - The Collection in a New Light

Exhibition Catalogue Picasso Celebration- The collection takes on color!, presented at the Picasso Museum, Paris (March 7 - August 27, 2023).

The artistic direction was entrusted for the exhibition to the famous British designer Paul Smith, who, with his colourful and energetic style, created an exceptional display under the curatorship of the museum's conservation team.

A lover of colour, fascinated by the world of entertainment, Paul Smith detects many echoes in Picasso's work and in his own approach, particularly in their relationship to images. Because the work of Picasso remains alive and it does not cease and has not ceased to be looked at and stimulating for the artists of yesterday and today. Some works by these artists are thus arranged along the route: Cézanne, Bourgeois, Kuitca, Samba or Mickalene Thomas.

The exhibition catalog reports on this new exhibition through analyses, perspectives and interviews with artists, and is adorned with the colors of the British couturier.
