Selected by a jury of collectors, the four nominated artists to the Marcel-Duchamp Prize are invited to exhibit at the Centre Pompidou for three months. This year's finalists are as follows:
- Abdelkader Benchamma (b. 1975), whose preferred technique is black-and-white drawing;
- Gaëlle Choisne (b. 1985), who transcribes the issues of catastrophe, resource exploitation and the vestiges of colonialism into video and large-scale installations;
- Angela Detanico and Rafael Lain (born in 1974 and 1973 respectively), who manipulate textual content to create works in a variety of media, with sources in graphic design and communication;
- Noémie Goudal (b. 1984), who uses photography to portray a world in which landscape straddles the line between reality and invention.
