The figurative works of Nathanaëlle Herbelin are marked by their profoundly human character: the artist gives an important place to everyday life, which she wraps in poetry and sensitivity. Portraits of loved ones, updated genre scenes, still lifes using the most contemporary of everyday objects and desert landscapes are all part of her personal vocabulary.
Nathanaëlle Herbelin's delicate brushstrokes and distinctive colour palette, reminiscent of certain frescoes, tell intimate stories and open up a world in which time seems suspended, as if she wanted to show memories or parts of her own memory, or build bridges between the intimate and the social.
Nathanaëlle Herbelin, born in 1989 in Israel, lives and works between Paris and Tel Aviv.
