Gustav Klimt (1862-1918), the famous Austrian symbolist painter and one of the most prominent members of the Vienna Secession movement. Painted at the end of his life, in 1917, this half portrait of a young lady shows an awesome background with asiatic ornaments. The lady wears a dress in the style of a kimono imprinted with motives of a Chinese dragon dress.
